Witchhazels are outstanding winter-blooming (most) shrubs with fragrant flowers borne on bare branches.  Most display a wide spreading habit and all are nice naturalizing plants.  Plant in moist soil with full sun to partial shade.For scent or sheer winter beauty, Witchhazels cast a desirable spell on us all.
