It has pink to rose-crimson colored flowers in late spring through summer. Spirea is a deciduous flowering shrub and there are many different varieties. Spirea shrubs are very easy to grow and has no particular pests. They prefer well-drained, deep moist soil. Full sun. Tolerates heat. Very showy.
