Watermelon Punch has salmon-pink petals with a large white center. Florets grow up to 1.5" in dia. Foliage is a healthy, dark green. Phlox paniculata is unequaled for showy blooms over a long period throughout the summer. Though they are some of the most popular perennials available, they do require some maintenance to sustain their health and vigor. Garden Phlox grows best in rich, moist soil in full sun. It will thrive with bi-monthly fertilizing and consistant moisture levels. This series is more resistant to powdery mildew than other series of Phlox. Deadheading will prolong bloom time and prevent self-seeding.
