An indispensable member of the herb family, used for perfumes and potpourri. Its ornamental compact habit along with gray green scented foliage make it a welcome addition to the perennial border. Flowers in summer. Use it in dry gardens, barren slopes, or bordering a sunny path. Deer resistant, good for hot dry spots, avoid too moist, fragrant, also dries easily.
