Delphiniums are elegant treasures of the perennial garden with their stately appearance and cup-shaped flowers of vibrant colors. 'Dark Blue/Dark Bee' is a member of the Magic Fountain series, dwarf hybrids that don't need the special attention of staking. Produces violet-blue florets with a black "bee," or central cluster of sepals. Luxuriant when massed along fences, walls, or in the back of a border. For loveliest display, fertilize and water regularly through the growing season. Cut off spent flower spikes to encourage a second flush of blooms.
