The Yarrow Strawberry Seduction, Achillea millefolium 'Strawberry Seduction'
PPAF, is part of the Seduction series. This line which is known for sturdy,
compact growth, long bloom periods, and interesting flowers. 'Strawberry
Seduction' PPAF produces large clusters of tiny, velvet red florets with
bright gold centers. This vigorous grower has lovely deep green foliage. They
are wonderful in fresh or dried arrangements. Yarrow can tolerate poor soil
conditions, but does best in lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. They
are adaptable to almost any soil with adequate drainage. Deadheading enhances
appearance and encourages rebloom. Allow to dry between waterings. Yarrow
should be planted in full sun and is tolerant to hot humid summers. Remove
faded flowers to encourage more growth and divide every 3-4 years. For an
attraction to butterflies, deer and rabbit resistant, one can’t go wrong with
this plant. |
