The Forest Pansy redbud retains all the admirable traits of its more common brethren, but with the addition of red-to-purple leaves. They emerge looking like glossy lollipops in spring and slowly darken, adding mottled green as the season progresses. Its flowers are more a true pink than the regular redbud, making it easier to pair in the garden. We like to plant one Forest Pansy with a group of dogwoods. |
