the Japanese Larch tree (Larix kaempferi) is a fast-growing, non-evergreen (deciduous) conifer. It is a medium sized tree with a broadly conical form. The bright green soft needles turn a spectacular orange-yellow in autumn before falling. Adept at coping with poor and/or acid soil. A medium sized tree, so expect a height of up to 6m (20 foot) after 10 years.
