This compact slow growing crab was discovered by Johnson's Nursery, Menomonie Falls, WI, from a crop of open pollinated Malus sargentii seedlings. It is smothered in fall with small, dark red fruit that persists until March. This cultivar is resistant to apple scab. This cultivar is grafted on a 42 standard. No Canada.
