This is an excellent, dwarf weeping form of Norway Spruce with a classy, staccato appearance. It has a sleek, pendulous growth habit with shorter and thinner needles than the popular Picea abies 'Pendula'. The leader should be staked, allowing all the side branches to cascade down, eventually forming a tight skirt around the trunk. It makes a dramatic icon in the landscape which can be grown higher by staking and becomes very wide over time. Ideal for growing as a specimen plant or for incorporating into the back of a large, mixed border.
