This is the "Dragon's Eye" form of the Korean Pine. Its yellow banding on the needles is most apparent on established trees in colder climates. Though the 'Dragon Eye' selection of koraiensis is not as striking as with other Pinus species, it remains a favorite among customers. In general it has the same soft effect as the species, and has the added benefit of long, green needles that radiate from the stems, and then twist downward. This gives the tree a weeping look.
